Nutrition Surveys and Studies

Through the Nutrition Surveys and Studies (NSS) collaborative programme, we provide important inputs to highly strategic policy and public health relevant research and surveillance programmes including the UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey Rolling Programme (NDNS RP). NSS activities are generally externally-funded and most often are delivered in collaboration with or on behalf of external partners, including government departments, academic and clinical research groups, and industry. As a centre-of-excellence, we focus on delivery at the highest quality and rigour in the provision of nutritional expertise, advice and techniques from a well-established basis of standardised data and laboratory practice based on quality-embedded systems. We also seek and exploit opportunities for population research method development, added value and knowledge translation.
